Why Rogue Running?
Rogue is the ideal combination of fierce running and community. More importantly, in the Rogue lifestyle they are not separate; we bring our community to our running and our running to the community.
Favorite running workout?
Any long progression. This method allows for you to start comfortably slow and finish comfortably fast.
Least favorite workout?
Anything that says “long fast intervals with recovery at MGP [Marathon Goal Pace]”. If executed, this can make you feel like a rockstar. If you can’t hang, you risk crumbled confidence.
Your go-to, pre-race meal?
Crunchy Granola Bars.
Your favorite post-run recovery food?
Fruit and beer. These jump-start my systems.
What athlete (past or present) most inspires your running? Why?
Cal Ripken, Jr. There’s a triangle defined by dedication, obsession and stubbornness and I don’t even attempt to escape it.
Favorite Austin Restaurant?
Jason’s Deli. Two words: unlimited vegetables
